More pending stuff to comment here. I have also recently spent a couple of days in Milano for a training.
I would not recommend to go there for tourism. The weather is usually as what I experienced: gray, and apart from the very centre of the city, there is not much to see. If you like shopping (not my case), this might be your place, though. One of the world’s fashion capitals, that’s it.

Long time without writing here, but lots of things to share… You know I like to write about anything which is not part of the daily life (trips, events, etc.), and the last month has been quite interesting in this sense.
Thanks to a friend’s e-mail I found out about Trashumad, and attended the event with JC. It is a hiking event organized by the regional government to discover the migratory roads in the surroundings of Madrid. It was a 16 km route in the mountains of Madrid with a couple of hundred people more (do not expect intimacy with the nature), but very well organized: bus from the city centre, food&drink supplies along the way, and ending in a small town with a typical “cocido madrileño” for lunch and other activities like falconry or horse training. Great day…
… and the following day, yet another interesting event: the last stage of the Spanish cycling tour: La Vuelta. This is just what you expect: a lot of cyclists, cars and motorcycles around the city, but for me it was special to see it live. It is one of those things you have watched on TV since you are a child… and now I managed to see it live. 🙂
