After the technical stop in Lake District, and before arriving to Edinburgh, we went to the Borders Region. A region which has witnessed lots of battles between the English and the Scottish troops, full of (destroyed) abbeys and with an amazing landscape, as it is a natural border with England, with lots of hills, and very few population around… I’m not used to that at all!

The scottish flag is called Saltire, and represents Saint Andrew's cross... And, like in the swedish case, it also appeared in the sky (therefore the blue blackground) of a battlefield and led to the victory of the scottish army.
