If you haven’t been to Madrid in the last few years, you might have not seen the four new buildings in the north of the city… Otherwise, it is impossible you haven’t done so.
They are the tallest buildings in the city and are in the more elevated area of Madrid, which makes them visible from all over the region, as they are clearly distinguished even when you are 40 or 50 km away. (this picture is from my colleague Jose Carlos… amazing).

As usual, they are involved in a lot of controversy, as not everybody likes this new glass arquitecture. I personally like them quite a lot. I think they give Madrid a new modern icon, which it lacked before, and empowers a modern area, where also a new futuristic congress centre is going to be built in the coming years.
