I have mentioned several times how much I like to find some free time to take a walk in the most centric big park in Madrid, Retiro. Last week, I have been twice. One on a sunny warm Saturday morning, and also on a foggy weekday. Two totally different moments to realize Winter is here in a natural environment.
One of the best things of Madrid is the opportunity of enjoying a walk in Retiro park, which lies in the center of the city. In fact, it is the only recognizable spot from the space, according to this image taken from the ISS by a Japanese astronaut.
This is probably one of the most serious clown I have seen in my life. He had the best spot in the Retiro park, but he did not have many children around… In fact, he only had one girl with her mother as public at that time, but they did not seem to be having lots of fun either.
Maybe both of them just wanted to enjoy the feeling of the sun on your skin. Really nice weekend in Madrid: sunny, warm, not too many people as some of them have already left for their Easter holidays. Once more, it’s confirmed: the best time to be in Madrid, is when (almost) everybody is gone… Even the weather is better!
